And just like that the 2011-2012 basketball season is gone.
This year really drained me.
Not in a negative way though, in a i-love-these-girls-so-much-and-want-the-best-for-them stress.
Like a mother goose, i love my ducklings...uh that was awkward. Scratch that.
This is only part of them. 4 are missing from this picture.
This was probably my favorite picture of the year.
Probably yelling at incoherent referees.
I really love this one.
No, not because of my backside.
Because of the perspective of looking at my team from the sidelines.
So many laughs this season they are a bunch of goofballs.
Always kept me on my toes and really at the end of the year,
once again, my team made me so proud and really left it all out there.
They played against girls who ended up getting varsity minutes..
why they were playing sophomore beats me..
but my girls gave them a run for their money.
Boom.
Love them.
I really needed the break because I was so exhausted and my grades weren't looking so hot.
But regardless, I miss it.
I always do.
Basketball is more than a hobby or even a sport to me.
It's my passion and love.
In fact, I'm going to go play tonight.
Can't stop, won't stop.
