oooooooookaayyyyy.

I'm embarrassed.
Yes. I'm still at 9 followers.
Oh well.
I'm over it

I love each and every one of my 9 followers.

So on with the blogging :)

I have been so busy lately working like crazy and trying to have fun on the side.
I went and saw the premier for Transformers!! SOOO good! Please go see it.
My personal opinoin:
Megan Fox is such a cheesy actress. She is just there to look hot (she is really pretty)
but I thought she did awful in the 2nd one.
They have a new girl for this one and she is way more gorgeous
and just does such a good job in her role.
Did I tell you I'm a big Shia LeBeouf fan?
And I really want a Autobot.
Bad.

I also got to go golfing with my dad!!
It was so much fun but I have a long ways to go before I'll be able to compete with him.
We got paired with a couple from Phily and let me tell you that was entertaining!
They had the coolest accents but their swings were even better!
I'm working on putting the video of it on facebook so keep an eye out.

Also.

I had a dream that I was at an airport for a long time just going on a trip
and ever since I've been craving it!!!

I want to go fly somewhere!
Want to come?
Ok your invited. :)

Well if that wasn't random enough.

Till next time my faithful followers.

If you look over to your right (on the page, not over your shoulder. your safe :) )
and count the icons for each of my followers
you'll count

As you can see,
this has been bothering me for quite some while.

I NEED TO GET OVER THE HUMP!

haha

So...

If I can get past the magic 10 mark
I'll have a post dedicated to my followers.
How I met them, memories, how much I love you haha

If I can get past 15
I'll post an embarrassing picture and/or story about myself.
Don't worry I'll make it good. :)

Ok.
Go and do.

Holy Busy

It's been a whole 10 days since I last blogged.

WHOA. HOLY. WOW.

Just Kidding.

But I am still alive and I see your still visiting...or at least I hope so.
So here is another funny story that happened lately.

Somehow the most random stuff happens to me
I love it
keeps life interesting
and you interested
hehe

So I was at work (Parks attracts Utah's finest)
and this family and their grandma came in looking for a tramp and while they were sitting at the register this was the conversation.

Grandma: "Oh I got pulled over the today."
Guy (her son, dad of the kids he brought, 'guy' will do): "What? What for?"
Grandma: "I was going 90 on the freeway. I noticed him behind me and pulled over. He told me he had been following me for 4 miles and was about to call out the tire-blowing-needle-tape."
Guy: "You were going 90?!"
Grandma: "Well, ya. I usually go over 100."
Guy: *horrified facial expression*
Grandma: "He also told me that because I switched my insurance from California to Nevada that my license plate was void and that he could tow my car on the spot."

......
I was speechless.
I almost forgot how to say the total to her so she could pay because I was so stunned.
What a nut.

Hopefully she got a ticket but she is definitely still on the road.
Look out.
haha
Ok mostly it's pretty funny but pretty dang scary at the same time.

Until next time followers...

P.S.
if your not an 'official' follower
the button is over there somewhere ----->

The sound of a voice.

You know those times that you recognize someone/somebody but you just can't figure out why?
That flashback
going through memories, faces, places
all because one of our senses picked up something familiar.

When children get lost the look on their face is scared and they start looking at all the faces all around them
looking for that familiar face of their Mother.
The one that they know unlike any other.
The voice that soothed them to sleep.

We all have those.

We know the voice of our family members
our friends
our beloved ones.

I had one of these crazy moments when you face goes blank
as your mind is racing trying to put that familiarity to a face, a memory.

An older guy and his grandson came into Parks Sportsman the other night
definitely not out of the ordinary.

As I asked him how he was and he answered, my mind immediately recognized the voice.
He had sunglasses on so I couldn't make out the face into something familiar
but the voice struck something in my brain
and off it went as it went through trying to find a face.

Then it finally hit me.

JEFFERY R. HOLLAND
of the twelve apostles.

He was in little ole' Parks Sportsman on a friday night.

When he came back up to purchase his items it took me quite a while to work up the courage to say this:

Me: "Can I ask you a question?"
"Well, sure."
Me: "Can I shake your hand?"
"Of course! How did you recognize me? I have my sunglasses on."
Me: "I recognized your voice."

We talked for a little bit more but as that has been on my mind the past little while
meeting a church authority is kinda a BIG DEAL.

I've been thinking how crazy it is how our minds can do that.
Memorize to an exactness a small thing as someones voice.
How amazing our senses are.
Did you ever notice how we pick up little mannerisms from the people around us?

But more importantly I've been thinking on a more serious, spiritual note.

How will I recognize Him?

I can't remember what He looks like
what His voice sounds like
how He walks, etc.

So that's something I'm working on.
Getting to know my Savior better.
Standing in the presence of a general authority is a great experience
being able to go stand in a dedicated Temple is a blessing
but being able to be in His presence is my ultimate goal.
