As of late.

Well first thing..

I got a promotion at work!!

I am usually just an office clerk at Thanksgiving Point with the accounting department

but there was a spot that opened up as a

"Accounting Technician"

basically you just do lots of reports, do odds and ends for the boss, count all the safes on property, etc.

pretty legit job right?

Well I got it!!

Even without a degree!

I was soo excited because I need to grow up and get a real job.

And what better than to work at a place I already like, seriously it's great out there!

Ok enough about me...

Remember that missionary boy in Nicaragua?

Well I got to hear from him today :)

Best day/phone call ever.

It felt as if we had never left off, just talking, updating, laughing.

I miss him.

A LOT.

But he is doing so amazing out there.

He has baptized 5 families (even more single people but families means mom and dad and maybe kids)

He got to baptize in the ocean! How cool is that?

His comp is on the left. The father was already a member but they baptized the mother and daughter.

This is their backyard..or maybe it was a members. But how beautiful! I want a hammock.

I don't remember names haha so...Stein with some elders.

He told me a story that he was teaching a family and as he was teaching he felt something on his arm.

What was it you say??

A TARANTULA!!!

He hurried and swiped it off and then smashed it with his foot.

His companion and the family was laughing.

Ya, he doesn't like spiders.

We're in trouble because I refuse to even smash them.

He is becoming such an amazing person.

I could talk about him all day.

He loves the people and his spanish is crazy good.

He even forgets english words sometimes and I think it's pretty funny

..and cute.

Mostly cute.

I start real life at 8 am tomorrow.
