A kid in summertime

Summer has been a dream lately. I have been playing non-stop and loving every second of it!

Dinner with my best friends for Toni's birthday.

Ward Boating Trip

Cancer 5k for my Grandpa..I PR'd just for him :) Running as a family was one of the most inspiring moments for me. I can't even begin to describe my love for each and every one of them. They mean the world to me and I KNOW I got the lottery pick in heaven.

Plus so many more things. When I started this year I set a goal to do the things I've always wanted to do, go places, meet people, just put myself out there and be a better me. So far, I've done just that and I am so completely happy.

I am so filled with gratitude towards my Heavenly Father for blessing me with the greatest people in my life, opportunities, and just little tender mercies every day. Just thinking about it brings me to tears.

And just when I think I've had some great adventures and filled this year with so much happiness..I'm not even halfway done :)

A Change of Scenery

Well the word is out and the rumors are true... this girl is headed to Salt Lake!

I am beyond excited to have a change of scenery and a new adventure. And what better way to start a new part of my life than fulfilling one of my dreams..going to the University of Utah!

When I first graduated high school I was fine with going to UVU because it's a good school, cheap tuition, and it was close to home. It was just a no-brainer. At first I had no idea what I wanted to go into and struggled academically, so I decided to take a year off to sort things out. I haven't regretted that decision, that was the best idea to just step away from it all and figure out what I was doing.

But I've reached a point in my life where I feel antsy beyond belief. So instead of buying a plane ticket to the east coast and dropping school, I'm going to the next valley north and going pedal to the metal for my degree. Far enough away I can meet new people and get away from this valley but close enough I can come home for Sunday dinners.

I'll be moving in August and housing is still up in the air so if you have any leads..send them my way!

The countdown has begun and this year keeps getting better :)
